Anthony Vaglica, Chairman and CEO. Mr. Vaglica began his career in the
legal industry as Office Manager for the court reporting firm Sherry Roe &
Associates. In 1996, after Sherry Roe & Associates was acquired by Esquire
Deposition Services, Mr. Vaglica was promoted to Vice-President of Southeast
Region Operations. Through acquisitions and an aggressive sales strategy, the
region quadrupled in size. In February 1999, his role was expanded to include
the entire East Coast. Since the acquisition, Mr. Vaglica, was promoted to Chief
Operating Officer. Mr. Vaglica was appointed the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in January of
2004. Mr. Vaglica earned his B.B.A. at Johnson & Wales University in Providence,
RI.
Howard Liebman, President and COO. Prior to joining the Company,
Howard previously served as President and Chief Financial Office of Shorewood
Packing Corporation. Prior to joint Shorewood, he was a partner in the
accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche (and its predecessors). He also currently
serves on the Board of Directors of The Sharper Image. Howard Liebman was
appointed to this Hobart West Group position in April 2007.
Harry McCawley, CFO. Harry has spent over 20
years in accounting, including four years with a Big Four accounting firm, six
years in the real estate industry, seven years in the media industry, and seven
years providing financial consulting services. His expertise in in overseeing
accounting and treasury functions, with special knowledge in mergers and
acquisitions, corporate management, systems development, computer systems,
budgeting and forecasting. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland,
College Park, Maryland, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration,
and a Major in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
John Serbetzian, Chief Information Officer. Mr. Serbetzian joined The
Hobart West Group in June of 2006. As the CIO, he is responsible for all aspects
of the IT organization. John has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry.
Prior to joining The HWG, he held CIO positions with Shorewood Packaging, and Troll Associates. Most recently, John has been
given the additional responsibility of overseeing all corporate production
activities for The HWG. Mr. Serbetzian is a graduate of Union College,
Schenectady NY, where he received a BA in Economics and Computer Science. He
also holds an MS in Management Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology,
Newark, NJ.
Michael Jarvis, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Jarvis
has been with the Company since its first acquisition where he was initially
serving as a personnel consultant. Since 1997, he has had general supervision
for the legal affairs of the company with an emphasis on acquisitions, equity
and finance transactions, other commercial transactions, corporate governance,
government affairs, regulatory compliance and labor and employment law matters.
Mr. Jarvis received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Science from
Dickinson College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School
of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the states of Connecticut and New
Jersey.
Peter Hare, Vice President, Marketing. Peter Hare serves as Vice
President, Marketing for the Company and its subsidiaries. He is responsible for
product development and marketing communications. Hare brings over
29 years experience providing innovative solutions to the national legal industry. He has
extensive experience in marketing, product development, general management,
operations management and sales. Mr. Hare holds a B.A. from Macalester College
in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Lance Clark, Vice President, Human Resources. Lance Clark is a former
practicing attorney who has been a human resources executive for more than 13
years. Most recently, Clark was director of human resources for Toys "R" Us,
Inc., where he was responsible for all human resources functions at distribution centers throughout the U.S. Previously, he was director of labor
relations for Rite Aid Corp., overseeing labor and employment relations for the
3,600-store chain; a management consultant for The Burke Group, a consulting
firm concentrating in the areas of union avoidance and union representation
campaigns; and human resources counsel for National Steel Corp., where he was
responsible for all human resources legal issues at the company. Clark's
professional career began as a labor attorney at the law firm of May, Oberfell
and Lorber in Indiana, where he rose to partner after just five years of
practice.
Mr. Clark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing at Purdue
University and a law degree from the Indiana University School of Law. He is
licensed to practice law in Indiana and Pennsylvania.
Eric Archer, President, Staffing. Eric entered the staffing industry
in 1983 and spent the following nine years with an international accounting and
finance placement firm. His experience includes consulting for the accounting
and finance staffing industry where he has performed training and operational
consulting for national and local staffing firms. Eric was a partner in a New
England-based staffing firm, which quickly grew to becoming one of the regions
most dominant companies. Prior to joining Hobart West, Eric was the President of
Spherion’s Professional Services Group.
He is a graduate of
the University of New Hampshire at Plymouth and obtained his professional
accounting experience with Pannell Kerr Forster in Boston, Massachusetts. He has
been active in the Institute for Management Accountants, the State Society of
CPAs and United Cerebral Palsy. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified
Personnel Consultant and a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist.
Roger Murray, Vice President, Esquire Deposition Services.
Mr. Murray is Executive Vice President of Esquire Deposition Services and
Esquire Litigation Solutions. Roger oversees all regional operations, including
all operational and sales functions. Roger was hired by Esquire in
September of 2001, as General Manager of the New York City office. In March of
2003, he became Regional General Manager for the Northeast and was promoted to
Regional Vice President of the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest regions in June
of 2005. Prior to joining Esquire Roger had over 16 years of management
experience with Wells Fargo Alarm Service. Roger holds a B.A. in business from
Brooklyn College and is a certified Manager of Reporting Services.
Karen Bright, Executive Vice President,
Operations and Special Projects.
In her current role with Esquire Deposition Services, Ms. Bright is responsible
for managing Esquire’s regional and branch managers, standardizing branch
operations and implementing new operating and billing procedures. Prior to
assuming her position, Ms. Bright was Regional Vice President of the Western
Division of Esquire. Ms. Bright held several court reporting positions including
Partner at Court Reporters Associated before starting her own court reporting
business, Karen Bright and Associates. Ms. Bright joined Esquire in May of 1998
after Karen Bright and Associates was purchased by Esquire. Ms. Bright is a
certified Court Reporter and was an instructor of court reporting theory at
McMahon School of Stenotype in Houston, Texas. Ms. Bright holds a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree and graduated with honors from the University of
Texas at Austin.
